The child and adolescent therapists at Meridian Behavioral Health have all worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient mental health centers and residential facilities, giving them a broad range of experience with many different issues.
We work hard to accommodate needs a parent may have for help with their child or teen, from relatively mild behavior problems all the way to diagnosing complex psychological disorders. All of our therapists take a family-based approach in work with children, that includes feedback to and from parents at every step. With adolescents, they balance respect for the growing teen’s confidentiality with inclusion of the parents to benefit both the teen and the family as a whole. We also have multiple staff Psychologists available to provide additional diagnostic support and to help coordinate treatment issues such as medication needs with your family doctor or pediatrician.
