We are a very unique outpatient treatment facility that strongly supports the growth and development of children. The majority of our staff has extensive experience in residential and inpatient mental health settings that were exclusive in their treatment to children and teens. This experience has provided our therapists an enhanced understanding of the various behavioral issues ranging from mild to most severe, thus refining the tools used in treatment to deliver a successful outcome. Many kids need help dealing with school stress, such as homework, test anxiety, bullying, or peer pressure. Others need help to discuss their feelings about family issues, particularly if there's a major transition, such as a divorce, move, or serious illness. Some of our child therapy services include behavioral management, coping with adjustment, ADHD therapy, and tools to reduce anxiety and fears.
Meridian Behavioral Health is located in McHenry, Illinois. We are just across from Centegra Hospital (formerly known as Northern Illinois Medical Center) on Highway 31. We are situated on Mercy Drive, just a short drive from Harvard.
