Lindsey Traudt received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Elmhurst College in 2006 and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2009. She currently works as a staff therapist with Meridian Behavioral Health, focusing on work with children, teens, adults and married couples. Lindsey has specific experience with substance abuse issues and with special needs children.

Therapy Style:
Lindsey strongly believes that the therapeutic relationship is the forefront of therapy and the foundation for change. She utilizes a variety of treatment approaches and techniques in order to meet the client’s individual needs and keep therapy at a level at which they are comfortable to begin to make the changes they are seeking. Her clinical focus has been on children, adolescents, adults, and couples and dealing with trauma, abuse, behavioral issues, self-esteem and identify issues, emotional and mood difficulties, anxiety, relational issues, and substance abuse. She utilizes techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, talk therapy, play therapy, art therapy, relationship building, relaxation and self-care techniques, and many other expressive therapies in order to assist clients in meeting their needs and improving their quality of life. Lindsey is a creative and caring person who is passionate about helping others to improve their quality of life and succeed in their goals.
