We are an outpatient treatment facility, unique in its emphasis placed on the growth and development of children. Most of our therapists have joined Meridian after working in residential and inpatient mental health facilities exclusive in treating children and teens. With invaluable experience such as theirs, the therapists can effectively choose the proper tools needed when working with children with mild behavioral issues to ones with more severe challenges. Some of the more common issues facing children today are ADHD, anxiety or specific fears, depression, difficulties in adjusting to new situations/environments, and conduct related problems. Our child therapy services will recognize each child's individuality and unique challenges they are facing, thus tailoring therapy to fit the needs of your child.
Meridian Behavioral Health is located at 3923 Mercy Drive in McHenry Illinois. We are adjacent to Centegra Hospital (formerly known as Northern Illinois Medical Center) and a short drive from Island Lake.
