We are a truly unique outpatient treatment facility located in McHenry, IL that centers much of its focus on the growth and development of children, adolescents, and teens. Our staff has extensive experience and training in working with children in varying degrees of behavioral issues. Several therapists at Meridian have worked previously at residential and inpatient facilities that work exclusively with children and teens. Through their experience they have developed many tools effective in treating behavioral issues ranging from mild to severe. This emphasis and level of expertise is uncommon in most counseling centers. Some of our child therapy services include behavioral management, coping with adjustment, ADHD therapy, and tools to reduce anxiety and fears.
